Tom Brady, Buccaneers Beat Drew Brees, Bucs Advance to NFC Championship First Time Since 2002
Tampa Bay is competing in the conference championship for the fourth time in franchise history. Now they are one game closer to the Superbowl after beating the Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints 30-20 in the NFC divisional round.
Tom Brady threw two touchdown passes and taking advantage of three Drew Brees interceptions.
The Saints got the better of the Bucs in both of their regular-season games, but Brady made it know 3 times a charm.
Toronto Raptors will begin the 2020-2021 NBA Season in Tampa, Florida
In a Statement on Twitter team president Masai Ujiri announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Toronto Raptors will begin next season in Tampa Bay.
How did the raptors end up Tampa Bay? With coronavirus numbers increasing and talks of a second wave on its way the Raptors needed a home. The Raptors have not played a home game in the Scotiabank Arena since February 28th.
With current travel restriction in Canada as well as a 2 week quarantine mandate it seemed not likely for them from start the season in Toronto.
After viewing a number of practice facilities, The team preferred Tampa over other cities that were being considered. Once the Canadian government denied the proposal to allow them to play at home and traveling without the mandated quarantine. The Raptor put everything in motion.
On Tuesday Raptors also unveiled their new uniforms and confirmed the resigning of Fred VanVleet .
